Hi, my name is Karl and I am a GIS Coordinator at GeoComm the Public Safety Mapping company (not GeoCommons!). This is my first blog entry at this new blog. I am still trying to figure out how I want to lay things out, and how it should look. I will be using Drupal 6.x as the CMS backend.
This blog will feature ArcGIS Desktop Tips and Tricks. There will also be some stuff on general GIS. The goal is to help out the common user with tips to make things go quicker and better. I will also try to tackle some higher level GIS topics too.

Im not familiar with Drupal, but should be possible to embed an interactive map with ESRIs web APIs (probably try the Javascript one first). However, would need to host your spatial data in ArcGIS Server.

I'm looking for the same thing. Would the Services Drupal mod import arcGIS webservices and if so, how complicated past getting the connection would it be to set up location nodes based on arcGIS data with custom cck fields?
Not working on ArcGIS - Drupal integration
It would be interesting to see this, but I'm not actively working on ArcGIS and Drupal integration. Modules such as Geo allow you to store location data in Drupal.
